SMS Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: August 30, 2026
Program Description
The Designer Boutique SMS program provides messages requested by customers. Customers can make separate choices for transactional messages and promotional messages.
Transactional Texts
Transactional messages may include purchase receipts, appointment confirmations and reminders, order or service updates, and customer-service communications.
Promotional Texts
Promotional messages may include sales, special offers, events, and information about new arrivals. Promotional consent is separate from transactional consent.
How Consent Is Obtained
At in-person checkout, a staff member asks the customer separately whether the customer wants transactional texts and whether the customer wants promotional texts. The customer may accept either category, both categories, or neither. The corresponding consent boxes in the Business Center are unchecked by default and are selected only after the customer gives verbal consent.
Consent Is Optional
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. A customer may complete a purchase without agreeing to any text messages.
Message Frequency and Charges
Message frequency varies based on purchases, appointments, customer-service activity, and promotional activity. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Opt Out and Help
Reply STOP to opt out of all text messages. After an opt-out request, the customer may receive one final confirmation message. Reply HELP for assistance. Customers may also contact Designer Boutique using the business email in the footer.
Privacy
Mobile information and messaging consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Please review the Privacy Policy page for more information.
Changes
Designer Boutique may update these terms when business practices or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
